Sarah has over 20 years’ experience practising predominantly in property law, including but not limited to, residential and commercial conveyancing for purchasers and vendors, commercial, retail and industrial leasing for tenants and landlords. Her client base is varied – from “mum and dad” homeowners to corporate landlords and tenants. Over her career, Sarah has worked in both boutique suburban firms, and very large city firms.
A big believer in keeping things simple and using plain English, Sarah’s clients often say that she is not like other lawyers and is a breath of fresh air. Her dedication to her clients is second to none, with many of her clients’ children seeking her advice as they get older.
Some of Sarah’s most recent property law and conveyancing matters include:
Assisting a large property developer secure call option agreements over a potential development site.
The sale of an $18m residence.
The acquisition of an off-the-plan commercial warehouse.
Assisting a landlord in re-leasing their commercial premises after negotiating a surrender of the previous lease.
Sarah has been recognised as an Accredited Specialist in Property Law by the Law Society of NSW.
Sarah has also been heavily involved with the North Metropolitan Law Society since approximately 2010, and has been Regional President since 2021.
Since 2022 Sarah has presented the Conveyancing Essentials workshop for the Law Society of NSW. This is an instructive course for legal professionals wanting to improve their property law and conveyancing knowledge.
