Jill has a strong interest in elder law. After being admitted as a solicitor Jill immediately gravitated towards elder law issues and she gained a position at the then Guardianship Tribunal, now a division of the NSW Civil and Administrative Tribunal. Working within the protective and inquisitorial jurisdiction of the tribunal, Jills eyes were opened to the injustices in guardianship and financial abuse that many elderly people suffer in our society today.
After 14 years at the Guardianship Tribunal, Jill gained the role as Co-ordinator of the Coronial Case Management Unit and Assistant Coroner of the Coroners Court Sydney.
Currently Jill enjoys advising on guardianship and elder law matters, and assisting our clients to execute wills, enduring powers of attorney and enduring guardianship instruments to ensure their voice and wishes are heard at a time when they may become voiceless.
