Steiner Legal

In November 2024, Thornton + King announced its acquisition of Steiner Legal, a boutique family law firm with specialist expertise in same-sex relationships, IVF, and surrogacy matters.

The acquisition bolsters Thornton + King’s existing family law practice by adding these additional niche areas of family law practice, allowing Thornton + King to provide a full spectrum of family law advice, including property and financial settlement matters, child custody, IVF and surrogacy agreements, collaborative family law practice, and family law mediation services.

Erin Steiner, founder of the firm, has joined Thornton + King as Special Counsel, where she continues to practice in both family law and wills, estates, and probate from our Balmain and Hornsby offices.
